The construction project of the Kalait livestock market, located in the Ennedi region of Chad is part of the national program for developing economic and pastoral infrastructure.
This market was designed to facilitate livestock trade strengthen exchanges between breeders and traders, ,and boost the local economy in a predominantly pastoral area.
The project includes the construction of covered spaces for the sale and exhibition of livestock, loading and unloading areas, water points for animal watering, as well as a drainage and sanitation system ensuring site cleanliness and durability.
The works carried out include the installation of solid reinforced concrete structures, construction of security fencing, development of internal access roads, and installation of modern public lighting.
This project contributes to the modernization of livestock trade, the creation of local employment opportunities, and sustainable economic development in the Ennedi region.
